Change/Remove Lalafell "Lifter"...

I just noticed this which is literally the same thing regardless of name. The first thing everyone used that Tree Slice Tower for was for their Miqote to have a cat tree.

Then just change the chair name to High Chair and let the community decide if they want to use it for lalas or not, then it'll be the same thing as the Tree Slice Tower.

Not really, it is one thing to have other players making fun of lalas, but when it becomes something "official" - this topic is what happens, tons of lala players showing that they are upset about it. If all this was not problem then we would not be here right now.

And they are here to show to SE that they are angry about it, I dont see why they cant do this.

Imagine picking a character that's made fun of for appearing like a child when it was the developer's first intention. If you don't like having a character being teased for being a 'child' then don't pick a race that is intentionally for that. Sorry but not sorry.

Find us a joke about adult Lalafells being treated as babies in-game prior to this, then we can talk about lore accuracy.

I already did in the previous page but here you go. This is just one example. I'm sure I can find another if I search hard enough.

Not even going to respond to anymore of these bad faith trolls when they're not even lalafell players and don't understand why the upset. Feedback is feedback and y'all punching down on the people it actually matters to. This change doesn't affect YOU guys and that's fine.

Big thanks to those who try to keep the thread on track for the actual request at hand. All we're asking for is a little more respect.

I'm not only a former main lalafell player but I also had an alt Lala that I used to play/RP a moogle. I think my opinion counts. I knew what I was getting into and I stop playing that race for similar reasons.

So... I decided to check this thread because I was told about this item by a friend and honestly, it annoyed me. Frankly, that's not an easy thing to do with housing items of all things but, alas, here I am, checking all the responses and I stumble upon this "gem":

Oh, sure, as if I came in knowing lalafell players were constantly bullied for wanting to play a short race. But sorry, I guess I'm the problem because I decided to stick to my choice in race.
I swear, when I started, my options were miqo'te female, au ra female and lalafell female. Sure, I can't even imagine of going into venues because many have a "No Lalas" rule, but at least I'm glad I dodged the bullet of picking any of the other two.
But hey, what do I know, players like these one or the ones that constantly infantilize us know better... after all we don't see lalafell fighting in battlefields, leading armies, entire nations or being ruthless mercantilists. Eorzea, what a world, where even toddlers can be in charge, and still be unable to walk into a nightclub... and that is somehow the fault of the lalafells /s

TL;DR: The chair it's a tasteless joke... and considering that very dumb things can make me laugh should be telling. Rethink the name/description of this item, and if you want to add lalafell sized furniture, follow the example of the humble lalafellin stepping stool.

Well the premise is also that players rather have our race be deleted or killed, although that's a joke I am sure. The infantilization is just something players should be against, because claiming we're children? becomes a problem like you said where every lore bit piece where Lala NPC's and characters are in charge of something? like a brothel or a big city like Ul'Dah, it just starts to not make sense.

Heck the story of Lamitt and Momodi Modi's love interests also becomes quite... disgusting then...

The logic to also make us fantasia makes no sense. Don't like being treated because of your appearance? just fantasia. Then the problem isn't the racial choice its the players that treat x players like such, to which players again claim doesn't happen - so its a constant contradiction. Players are angry at Lalafell players for existing... cause reasons? but aren't even blaming Square for creating Lalafells in the first place. That's the actual " Joke " about everything.
