I assume those sorts of settings are just set for the entire item, regardless of whether one gender's model could otherwise wear the things together without issue.
The Hannish Wool Autumn Shirt is another example I can think of – the female version is only waist length and should be fine with leaving sashes visible, but the (regrettably mis-styled) male version hangs below the waist, so the "hide sash" setting activates regardless.
Yeah I don't think it's really a "bug" either but I think it's something they should consider fixing regardless cause I really don't see a reason for a strapless top to not show a necklace. I have this set that is super cute but it's all busy but at the neckline, it's so bare.. I end up hating the glam all together lol so
Most likely. I was just pointing out how it's even more ridiculous - and noticeable - for the male variants to have invisible necklaces when there's nothing covering the neck in either of the 8 versions. Besides, if the faire joi are separate items with no job restriction on them, maybe there's a chance they could've been coded differently (just speculating here, if anyone with coding knowledge can confirm or disprove this please lol)I assume those sorts of settings are just set for the entire item, regardless of whether one gender's model could otherwise wear the things together without issue.

Well then? Did they just accept this and let it rot for…… 6 years?
They sure fixed that Gaia outfit quickly though….
Seriously, it's obviously not fixed so they must've let it rot for 6 years but ofc the other got fixed because........ it'll make them money unlike this one. :/
it is so insane that it just doesnt have a necklace slot. a literal mogstation item for a ridiculous amount of money. imagine how much they make from mogstation monthly, on fantasia alone, and they give us incompetent 5 min port releases that show your entire neck and collarbones but dont let you wear a necklace AND they dont fix it for 6 years
The ex-seasonal gear is reasonably priced, actually. Have you actually looked or are you just here to incite angry anti-Mogstation arguments in a thread only tangentially related to it?
Faire Joi while a separate item is the exact same model as all the other Jois this includes the neckpiece, even if on the Faire Joi it's technically not textured properly and hidden by the game engine as you can see on garlandtools or the like, but Iscah is pretty much right, it's all or nothing even if designs differ between the male mesh and female they'd have to rework how things work to allow for control per race (which would be easier said than done), and that still wouldn't solve it in this case for female. Most likely. Let it clip through, its not like a neck strap would prevent a necklace being worn IRL either. We also have the emperors stuff to hide it if needed.Faire Joi while a separate item is the exact same model as all the other Jois this includes the neckpiece, even if on the Faire Joi it's technically not textured properly and hidden by the game engine as you can see on garlandtools or the like, but Iscah is pretty much right, it's all or nothing even if designs differ between the male mesh and female they'd have to rework how things work to allow for control per race (which would be easier said than done), and that still wouldn't solve it in this case for female.
