Small QoL Improvements

The "Entrust Duplicates" option could be improved. First of all, please don't bother with the confirmation box telling me the process is done. I don't want another click. I used this to save time. Lastly, I would like a tick box to automatically lower the quality of items with matches, and have that setting remembered for the future.

Auto umbrella during rain needs a little bit more work. There's been more than once when I'd dismount in the rain, charging into a FATE, and I pull out my umbrella.

Maybe limit it to only sanctuaries?

Or maybe just get rid of the forced emote bar and make those emotes actual emotes, and allow combat actions to automatically remove the umbrella?

I've said it before, but I'd still love all characters to have access to all gender-locked poses, specifically the weapon idle poses. Plenty of players want their masc DRK to have the fem idle pose, and I avoid the fem MCH pose whenever possible.

A lot of us have been asking for title screens to be permanently on whichever one we chose last. Being able to turn off the automatic movie would be great as well.

It's also been great to see updates that address issues that many players have used mods for like the party list buff timers. It would be really nice if the big countdown font were either easier to read or you could pick a font. The current big timer font is skinny with a thick outline, and having the option for a wider or overall bigger font would be nice. Being able to see the countdown for all the numbers and not just the 5s and 5-1 would be great.

Tons of players have been asking for chat bubbles forever.

My partner and I were also discussing how it would be helpful if the hitboxes of targets displayed the flanks, or even if there was some kind of novice guide or one of those notification popup help windows for what constitutes the flank. Since I don't play melee, it took me a while to figure out that the empty spot at the back of the enemy showed the rear positional, which meant that where the lines started showed where the flank started. However, we don't actually know where the flank starts in the front of the target; this information would specifically be so that the player would understand how fights and mechanics work, so not necessary, but potentially helpful. Related, our static often makes fun of one of our players for being too far out for mechanics, but we realized it's because he can't see where the rear-flank divide is on big hitboxes (which the current tier of fights have been giving us even with smaller enemies [i.e. P6S]). Having at least the option for flank lines in hitboxes would help a lot of players, especially in raids.

I can't believe I am saying this but I wanted to ask for a Lord of Verminion improvement. It seems when the client is shut down, my HUD configuration for the mode is lost. Please keep it persistently.

Just a few small QoL improvements:

• Try On Multiple Armors It would be fantastic if we had the ability to try on multiple pieces of armor at a time.
• Separate UI Elements HP, MP, TP, Buffs, Debuffs, Target Status, Focus Castbar, and Target Castbar should all have separate UI elements that can be manipulated independently.
• Inventory Search Let us search items in our inventory windows with a search box.
• Tab Target Have the target icons dictate tab target order, or give us the option to choose tab target priority method. Would also be great if icons set enemy list order!
• Item Macros Give us some means to use Potions and the like in macros, please!
• Enemy List Targets As a tank, knowing who's pulled a certain mob off me would be incredibly helpful.

The UI is already leagues ahead of other out-of-the-box MMO UIs I've seen, but these would just push it a little further.

Another vote for:

A “time since cast” gauge on fisher- everyone macros it anyway, but a less clunky timer would be nice.

I would also quite like my debuffs to show up on the enemy list with durations - if I’m not allowed bane, it would at least make redotting a bit easier.

My self-applied buffs having an option to be bigger on the ui (twin snakes, disembowel, storm’s eye and the like).

Could the left side gear all be moved down one “slot” in the character screen and inventory ui element for reasons of symmetry? With the removal of belts it has a slightly offset look that doesn’t quite work in my eyes. edit: I drew this in paint to try and illustrate what I mean here.

Could submarines/airship parts display on the interface? There’s a lot of menus and discovering it’s all broken when trying to despatch it can be frustrating.

Say chat bubbles would be nice, although could be disconcerting with gil sellers living in the void

A kind of flying mount roulette, but for multiseat mounts. Possibly a bit niche I admit.

Island sanctuary being added to the timers list - just something to remind me that I’ve forgotten to tell them to make stuff or that the expedition isn’t sent off.

I would quite like to see a relic enthusiast with achievements for showing the complete zodiac weapons to, so that they don’t have to be in my inventory when asking gerolt’s assistant for replicas, but that might be a bit too tricky.

Anytime an action can't happen because a fashion accessory is in use, please don't hold it up. Just put it away. This single thing is causing auto-umbrella to result in loss of character control.

I made a separate post but ill put them here. Did some research and found these to be nice QoL. Ill keep looking for others as well that could be implemented.

-Change “skip cutscenes if seen before” to skip cutscenes automatically. I feel like this would be a nice change for people leveling alts or people who dont want to watch them.
-Automatically press yes with options. - Always -Have a option to set the one selected to always yes.
text advance that automatically goes through all the dialogue without delay as an option under settings not manually having to do it.
-a /notebook to put notes of things you would like to remember without having to use notepad on your pc
-when you open lockboxes just make it a list of what you got without having to click through each Or just put it in our inventory. No need to see the animation of each box opening.
- reduce the amount of things you have to say click yes to in dialogue. Please no more clicking for every door or area. If we click it we want to go in.
-make desynthing things just appear in your inventory. No animation.
-please work on the gc ranks. We need the last few ranks.
-Instead of datacenter on the main screen show which datacenter you last logged into so we can see which we had been on incase we need to return our character home.
-option to disable the “are you sure you would like to buy/sell this item” Toggleable? Feel like people should just read before clicking.
-option to see what job the person talking in chat is on currently.
- more chat tabs and the option to rename all chat tabs
- show specific time for retainer ventures instead of under a hour. Have it say 1:15:00 if its an hours and fifteen minutes etc
