Please, can we have the flying text fixed?
1.If we could remove the spell names on the flying text and just have the amount of damage, that would help a lot with how messy the screen looks, especially in AOE.
2. Also being able to turn toggle seeing stuff like when buffs/debuffs enter/leave, incoming heals, etc.
I hate how the only options are "look at giant walls of text on my screen" or "you can't see any of your damage at all".

I have been trying to get into fishing but there is not enough fishing information available ingame. I know that hardcore fishers of the game will disagree, but reading pages and pages of websites to figure out fish availabilities, ocean fishing guides, rare fish, with hundreds of baits to try and all sorts of nonsense. Its just so much and rather impossible to figure out on your own. Something in game would be nice. Fishing also revolves heavily around counting seconds after your initial cast to determine which fish to get. It would be so helpful if there was a precise in-game timer for this instead of having to use echo macros.
tl;dr please give fisher a job gauge revolved around time since cast in seconds.

I could see the Fishing Log being updated to include baits, bite times, and so forth that you've personally gotten. It wouldn't spoil hardcore fishers, even the most devoted blind discovery fishers, while more casual players could fill in the common fish from a guide and then reference their own Fishing Logs.I have been trying to get into fishing but there is not enough fishing information available ingame. That would be really nice - it's weird that echo macros are basically required yet made unintuitive by the job. Show a nice bar for time since cast (or mooch) with a clear counter, and new fishers would be clued in that bite time is worth paying attention to without impacting the discovery aspect for players who enjoy that. As a bonus, we'd no longer have the echo macros continuing while reeling in a catch or deliberately letting a fish get away.
I wish if we can directly select which pose we need for example we can type /cpose1 or /cpose3 and we can immediately change to that pose. Having this will also allow us to add a pose to each job when swapping using a macro.
The ability to pin achievements with it's requirements somewhere in the screen, WoW had the option to show a couple of achievements on the duty list, since my list is mostly empty these days might as well give it some use.
QoL Suggestion: Allow import of Gear Set portraits to Adventurer Plate Portraits
The suggestion is pretty much in the title. Give players the ability to use their gear set portraits to import those portraits to their adventurer plate portrait. It's a quality-of-life adjustment that should already be in the game, as it's tiring to keep making portraits for your adventurer plate from scratch whenever you want to switch your portrait to a different class or a different pose within the same class.
Currently, if I am using a NIN adventurer plate portrait and want to display my RPR gear set portrait, I have to edit it from scratch; i.e. switch to RPR, pick all design and character options (from scratch, even though it already exists on my gear set portrait list), and position and change the lighting, poses, expression, etc. It's a QoL change that should already be in the game with the introduction of the new gear set portraits for PvP/Mahjong.
still holding out for glamours to be more alt-friendly some day![]()
especially seasonal/mog station glamours. please. i know ffxiv is centered around one character, especially with world/data center travel being a thing now, but sometimes i want to play another character for a number of reasons that i don't feel is necessary to list out. it's all been said before... it could be a feature you have to choose to opt in for if someone doesn't want their progresses shared xx/ but would reallllyy love something like the WoW account-wide features
The mount and minion UIs used to default to favourites when you first opened them up after logging on. Now they default to page 1. Please open up favourites. Having to click again to get there is diminishing the point of the favourites feature for me.
Don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not, but when trading in gear for Grand Company seals we need the option to select all the items we want to trade in and turn them all in at once. Hearing the "Delivery Complete" fanfare over and over when you have a long list to trade is grating.
Gamers don't die, we just go AFK
