Eh, have you ever considered that the small FCs that have held onto the same house for 4+ years have held onto it because at least one person cares enough to continue using it without letting the timer tick down to 0?
If the FC dies then the house will demolish, and if it doesn't then whoever is in the FC deserves to retain use of the property.
Watching forum drama be like

Yea lets put additional misery to those who got scammed by the phishing links and got their account back after appealing the termination. If you say they deserved it for falling for something so stupid, you are just being horrible.
Demolition is only suspended in EU anyway, and it's no longer because of Ukraine, but because of the earthquake. Will probably be turned back on next patch. 45 days is fine and gives enough time to resolve a permaban caused by an account compromise.

Again, I don't think temporary bans should result in loss of housing (unless, of course, you were already almost due for demolition and get yourself suspended so you don't get back in time ... which really is your fault in that case, though).
Permanent ones are another matter altogether though, because those accounts will never be used again, so what's the rationale for allowing them to still have their house in that case?
Naturally, in most cases the demo timer will take care of it soon enough I suppose; the real salt happens when (as in the case I mentioned above) there is a demolition moratorium, because then you have housing that's legitimately out of circulation yet not in use (because its owner is permanently banned) and which may not return to circulation for an indefinite time period (especially with how long the demo pauses during Stormblood and Shadowbringers were extended) as it won't be demolished until a month and a half after the moratorium ends.
It might at least be rational that accounts in bad standing (or maybe just perma banned ones) lose the privilege of a paused demolition timer, then? (Though that is assuming that the timer can be paused or not on anything less than World level granularity and I'm not sure the spaghetti code even has that capability)

They don't have to stay. Once an FC is created, then it's there and it doesn't matter how many people are on it in SE's eyes. And people move on. Can't force them to stay with an FC or with XIV.
Is there any proof that perma-banned accounts houses are staying? I've seen people mention it, but never actually seen if it's true.

Sure, let's punish a player who done several offenses and is finally trying to repent because TempusFinis think these players are beneath the rest and do not deserve the same equal treatment from a professional company even though they pay the same sub fees.I think demolishing housing should be activated for SE accounts in bad standing and part of an FC with housing or solo player with housing. It's a privilege to own a house in FFXIV, and I think repeat offenders don't deserve a house of any kind.
I think it should be on a shorter time cycle, preferably weekly or daily, until the egregious incident passes after 90 days on those accounts.

Yes, Reddit is great to follow up on FF14 gamers who openly admit they have been perma-banned and still have a large house and lodestone profile. This Reddit thread is one good example of many....

Its literally one person saying it, and they didnt say they kept their house, they said their lodestone link stayed, it literally doesnt mention housing at allYes, Reddit is great to follow up on FF14 gamers who openly admit they have been perma-banned and still have a large house and lodestone profile. Here is another example, this is an openly admitted permabanned account that is a member of a large FC with a large house, similar to the other Reddit post.

I wish there was a private 'Community Rating' based upon the number of FC members with permabans/suspensions and how frequent those bans/suspensions are for your FC. This private 'Community Rating' would activate demolishing the FC house and/or disbanding the FC....
