Highlanders are where is at. Au Ra are either too wierdly proportioned or their posture and animations are just so wacky.

Oh my god yes, vanilla tails are too short, double length, at least on fem Ra, and with the slider maxed of course, are perfect length to me,

Also, considering how many people are scared of hugging me on these threads out of fear that I will tear their heads from their shoulders, I think it's safe to say Hrothgar can be intimidating enough. Besides, have you seen a Hrothgar Dark Knight? Guts would be proud. Even better if it's a Roegadyn, they make Darth Vader look like a twink!

Personally, I would really dig au ra to actually look like lizards or dragons or demons or whatever other specie people erroneously think the race is supposed to be modeled after instead of just humans with extremely aggressive skin cancer, horns, and tails.
