I reported someone with questionable taste and placement of decks over a year ago. They are still up.

Yeah, that's what I was just talking about with my husband... if this is a long term thing and the previous plot owner was pretty much forced to move because of it, or the new plot owner is left to deal with this- that'd be super crappy.

All these people out in the GD forum posting about 3rd party stuff in regards to ultimates, but it happens with housing too, with results that also affect other players.

If they let this kind of thing stand, that's saying a lot.

SE should do something about this and not just give a canned respond... this is ridicoulous, that this behavious is permitted... though it can be bypassed by walking into the object, but still.

It would be nice if GM's took action and or removed the items, sending the player who did it message, if not present... if keeping on doing it... just banning the account for 2 months or something, and turn on auto-demolition, if it is not already present.

Wholeheartedly agree on the ban.

One of the FC members is showing online via the house sign. It'll be interesting to see if they remove this stuff considering the amount of unhappy chatter in that area right now.

Ideally, player should get a warning and have their yard items sent to storage/housing retainer.

I think you're right on the 2nd part, but hopefully, if a GM does actually investigate this, this player gets more than a smack on the hand.

Housing is a hot commodity, hard fought for in this game- but there are rules of engagement that need to be followed. Making yourself an extreme nuisance and blocking the view/play areas of other players should be an instant ban. It's not like this FC or it's members are standing on a mount covering an NPC quest giver. They used a 3rd party program to block the terrain and obliterate the view of a plot they don't even own. Not just with one item.. but multiple items.

They knew exactly what they were doing.

As did the players making a nuisance of themselves when Asmongold or whatever his name was started playing FF14..

Adding to this: I don't think it's possible to put up the furniture in that manner? If so, they could be using third party tools to grief. Two strikes right there.

What was the problem with the deck? If its just floating on the wall, that's actually possible with an in game glitch.

Third strike is that person who did this is literally taking up space from another property. Space that not belongs to thems. If Mao were adjudicatings this, Mao would send offending person a notice saying that thems has 48 hours to take down all offending structures or else account gets SLAGGED. Is quite obvious that offending person knows what thems doing. To anyone who mourns for loss of offending person's account, all Mao has to say on this is that nothing of value was lost. These kind of persons are NOT the kind of persons that make for a good MMO community.
