BACK ON TOPIC I memba seeing some ppl want the "moenbryda" hair on hrothgar and so I looked in the cc menu and that hair is shockingly not a femroe racial hair.
Its available on all female races except miqo and aura. I dont need to say viera bc we know, we all know, what is and is not available on viera or hrothgar.
Now all the races that can use that hair have ears on the sides of their head, not the top. While certain adjustments to universal hairs have been made, this hairstyle specially is...idk "combed" in such a way to show the side of the humanoid face. Obviously miqo dont get this hair bc the Uncanny Valley of a 99% human face with no ears is too much, same reason they dont get a Bald option and why the "Gladiolus" uni style has additional hair instead of having buzzed sides.
So I hate to say that while they could work it for hrothgar ladies (a mostly cat face doesnt trigger UV vibes because why would it, no cat has sideears) we also have the added caveat of being dependent on viera additions.
They could always put in extra work, make hrothgar and viera have equal uni styles before 7.0 drops, but since they didnt and hrothgar are TWO PATCHES BEHIND after the earpocalypse of 6.1, that just wont happen.

Aw man, that sucks. That hair would look awesome on fem Hrothgar too. I'm hoping they give them an exclusive hairstyle that at least looks similar to it.

But Im certain moengar will be among the first FORBIDDEN MAGICKS available to ladies, it is arguably the best female-locked hair in the game.
But it is endlessly hilarious to me the big money making most popular female races in the game cant use it. You would think they would like...let hair lay flat on the sides of the head or smth for miqote but no.

I know it's not possible for PS players. That's part of the issue xD:

• On one hand, yes, it's like "Oh we'll be reliant on modding again", which means PC players will be further encouraged to break/continue breaking the ToS, and PlayStation players will still keep getting diddly squat. Which is daft, SE should be the one doing this, not amateurs doing stuff for the half of the playerbase that does this
• On the other hand, often we only know "stuff works" through modding. Several hairstyles have been proven to be able to work on Hrothgar, unlike certain other options that makes them look like an absolute onion, through mods. It's also how we showed Square Enix that ears can absolutely be added to our hairstyles.

Mods are an unfortunate reality of the game because PS players can't use them, and the sheer use of them is not something SE accepts, but that's neither here nor there, because what I meant by that was how yes: people who can have access to this will only be further encouraged to pursue it if Square doesn't get a move on.
And Square should get a move on bc not everyone can just throw their arms in the air and say "fug it, I'll mod". It's just overall irresponsible of them not to. It's irresponsible to leave Hrothgars behind so much on account of a technicality.

As for Miqo'te, I really don't know. They're one of the game's largest money makers for sure, really big draw-ins, especially for newer players. But at the same time, they're clearly not the favourite child, since even their racial features are getting thrown into the void nowadays. Something we warned them about, but they didn't seem to care. Oh well.
So it really doesn't surprise me that even they don't have access to everything.

Question is... will Femgars.

As for Miqo'te, I really don't know. They're one of the game's largest money makers for sure, really big draw-ins, especially for newer players. But at the same time, they're clearly not the favourite child, since even their racial features are getting thrown into the void nowadays. Something we warned them about, but they didn't seem to care. Oh well.
So it really doesn't surprise me that even they don't have access to everything.

depends on how much effort in 7.0 launch goes into getting hrothgar up to snuff.
At the very least femgar will have Lightning, Styled for Hire and Rainmaker on launch, all top tier hair options.

Oh femgar will also have great lengths, which I will be using til 6.5 released Styled for hrothgar. I just wish we could wear hats already I love GL length and the long bangs but the scalp of the hair is kinda boring.

M*ds are neither here or there. Cause not everyone can or wants to use them + they are against the TOS. But I fully agree that Hrothgar as a whole should still receive more hairstyles and hats with future patches and the new expansion. There is a new one coming with the deep dungeon that I think would look amazing on male Hrothgar. So fingers crossed it would be available to them.
For the Moenbrida hairstyle, I think it would be a very good hairstyle for female Hrothgar, I already like how it looks on Roegadin and Elezen. Even if they won't add it due to an excess of "empty space" due to the ear placement, might make it look a bit weird or uncanny. Though I would love to see a half-shave hairstyle for female Hrothgar as an option.

Female Hrothgar will also have access to the Alphinaud hairstyle and Early to Rise which are both amazing options alongside the ones you listed! :3
