The only visitors i had were people from the novice network or private linkshell. And they realy dont care whether its truly a house, or an appartment on that.

Wards barely do anything as most of the time they are just completely dead in interaction. The only reason to have them is because something has to be loaded in to allow players to be teleported to between dungeons. That they support some houses for display is nice, but outside of that barely has any function. If houses would be instanced and allow teleporting to in similar fashion to appartments, barely anything would change.

The argument of having it look like a nice city can also backfire, because some house facades (and the ways of people decorating them) are plain horrible. The only reason its like that is because its unique and changing wards does change some appearances. And i can imagine that if it was FCs only, and FCs had more interaction, that it would help on that part to get some interaction. But thats not how most FCs work in this game. There is rarely any use to visit your FC house as usualy most members dont have any interaction in there. FC appartments are rarely built, and workshop access is often still restricted (if each player at least could make a private airship etc, then it could get more players to interact).
