



huh, thats a good point. and I am sure my parents bought every blanket they ever produced so I remember those colours... too bad the blankets werent very comfyWith certain yellow dyes it looks like the Hudson's Bay Company's signature colours. One of Canadas oldest companies from the British that populated the country, largely important for fur trades across the tundra. It's historically important to our culture.

Did this Saami Council have this clothing design copyrighted if not they have no claim to keep others from using this clothing design. I can't say I have ever heard of the Saami before.

Just want to point out that no one truly owns their culture, it's all just a hodgepodge of other cultures through cultural osmosis. I mean we British have to put up with Americans butchering our language because of it.



more fantastic clothing around the arctic, or maybe far north, which aint sami dress
but which could have inspired the glamour all the same
from cultures: mansi, selkup, veps, karelian, naganasa
