I draw your attention to the portion of the article that states they have an agreement with Disney Animation. THAT changes everything.

And? Disney also should not be letting themselves be strong-armed by a bunch of grifting activists either.

this reminds me back in the day when Nintendo had to remove the chanting from Fire temple in ocarina of time , for the same reason , cultural issues....

Wait wasn't this done because it turned out said chantings were like, muslim prayers and the game creators had no idea? If I remember right they removed it because they did not want a religious influence on their game, not because they were made to.

yeah the chanthings were in a free sound library, not anymore , nintendo removed it because they didnt wanted to offend muslim community BUT also i remember reading the muslim community contacted nintendo and demanded to remove the chant , something similar happened with hitman 2 but i dont remember what happened in that scenario

My point being that if they have an agreement in place with Disney perhaps their stance is from a legal standpoint.
