I'm sorry that I erred on a meaningless technicality. Truly a most devastating gotcha.



I wonder what other words could be used to describe a situation where players do a thing not intended by developers.

Ownership of multiple accounts is very much intended, though, and has been all along. If you were to continue to scroll through my past comments, you would come across the times I said that players who were acquiring their additional houses through purchase of multiple service accounts were doing nothing wrong as they were paying for that additional access. My issue was with those who were obtaining multiple FC houses on the same world and same service account at that time.

Remember that you're intentionally necroing threads from the past when the published rules for housing were different from what they are now. Every time you quote something housing related from prior to April 2022, you're taking things out of context to suit your personal arguments and making your position even weaker because those of us who were present for those discussions know what the full context was as of that time in the game while you don't.

As I have said before, I do not like the rules changes but I accept them. I'm not going to go on the attack against players who are doing what SE has stated is allowed.

Multiple account ownership is allowed. SE cannot take away access that comes with a paid service account without violating consumer protection laws in those countries that have them. Anyone trying to claim that multiple account ownership is an exploit is ignorant.

Multiple house ownership per world is allowed now by SE's own published Housing Guide where that guide did not include that provision prior to April 2022. I'm not going to accuse players who are doing so of any wrongdoing.

Instead I am going to continue to press SE to fix the system.

Now let's say SE did change the rules yet again to a hardfast one personal and one FC house only per account. Do you genuinely believe that would solve the supply issue and there would no longer be players unable to get a house?

If that's what you believe, the more the fool you are.
