No i get that, but that is not how many crafters think. And i have been in games with gear destroy and not enough gear around to support it.I agree, what Kita does not understand is when things break it needs to be replaced = demand, which in turn is made in abundance by crafters = supply. Gear will not be hard to obtain until the days where XIV dies down to a few hundred players per server.
I'm not a real big fan of gear breaking cause I am king of death but aslong as crafters aren't douchy with the prices I'd support this. FIRST though we need things that actually challenging that unless working together well death comes easy.
