Not everyone did. Quite a lot of people consider it an improvement over Eureka and praised the additions and concepts it had. It just required better future-proofing and incentives, and though it added stuff it didn't stray too far from the usual mold we had seen before.
The brown is to be expected: it's a warzone in the middle of a Ground Zero. Do you expect warzones to be your average everyday Thavnairian rainbow?
People disliked a lot of things about a lot of content, it doesn't mean it was universally hated. Bozja had at least far better reception on release than Eureka Anemos did. And only one thing Bozja as a whole had was about as reviled as Pagos was, and that was the decision to make CLL mandatory for the relic progression.
Oh I'm aware, it's more the fact that people forget how much negative things are said about content here. Later they only remember the good, not the bad.
I didn't hate bozja, I thought it was fine. I didn't hate eureka either.
