I'll address the relevant point, best case scenario of the patch dropping on the first day of your sub and you quitting 30 days later and you resetting the timer on that last day you still have to pay your sub twice in between major patches (Assuming 130 days between major patches, which is the best we have so far) to keep the house, which I guess could be argued for one additional sub if you are going to come back for the next patch anyway as your second resub will encompass the next patch start date. This falls apart when you want to stop playing for longer than a patch cycle for any variety of reasons, or if the patches start to take longer or you are in a non optimal timing for your sub and patch drop dates.
