Cannot login on character.

Have you tried logging in, navigating to the Datacenter where your Character is currently residing, right click on the Character in the selection menu, then selecting "Return to Home World".

It shouldn't allow you to purchase a Name Change to begin with, as:

"Your character must be on their Home World to perform name changes, so please be sure to log out from your Home World before using the Character Renaming Service."

But alas, this is basically a bug since you are now locked out of using said Character.

Yeah, cannot switch to home world because return to home world does not work when lose connection while in an instance. I spoke with support they told me to but in a bug report, since sooner or later the game will register that my character is logged out. They could not give me a time frame, worst case I hope it is until the next maintenance.

I've never done character renaming before, but it also seems like a system issue - why were you allowed to even perform renaming while you are in other DC? Maybe it should pop an error message saying, "please return to home world" first?
