I love having a quest about loving oneself and the way you are and then the reward telling me to accept the gender roles society has enforced upon each and every one of us.
So wholesome. A+. Great. Awesome. Cool. Rad.

Yeah, I agree that the message comes across as contradictory.
However, something tells me that down the line they are going to gender unlock both sets. Whether it happens when they put it up for sale on the online store or before then is anyone's guess.
I bought the male glam though, just in case.
That's not the point (and m*ds have already proven that they look fine on the opposite gender(s) and don't clip anymore than they already do for the ones they're designed for). It's just... it's lazy, tonedeath and once again excludes both Viera and Hrothgar because... ???Yeah, I agree that the message comes across as contradictory.

TLDR:
Quest: Love yourself, wear what you want!
Also the same Quest: GENDERLOCKED OUTFITS
I never said that was the point? I never made excuses for them, but I'm at this point where I am too cynical to expect anything but the most likely outcome, which is the bare minimum (or even lower, in some cases)That's not the point (and m*ds have already proven that they look fine on the opposite gender(s) and don't clip anymore than they already do for the ones they're designed for). That's the style she enjoyed, so why would she switch? You're very much pushing your own preference on her with this statement. The male version is still very much like the other outfit and I think it would have the same effect. What gets me is that if they hadn't gender-locked the outfits, they could have had Astrid wear the masculine outfit after the story blurb, instead of just swap back into the Best Man's outfit which, while nice, is super old, I am sure she would look great in it, an adorable little princely princess.
The genderlocking was funny but you know whats more funny.
Making a quest about wearing what you like and being true to you then locking two races again out of the full reward.
It'll be 4 years in july and they're still screwin over hrothgar and viera
You can buy the sets from the special vendor after you do the quest so if you want the other outfit I would buy it now and wait. There's a high likelihood that the gender lock will be removed at some point so better safe than sorry.
I was legit happy for folks when they started unlocking stuff, but now it's just ridiculous. It's very clear that it's going to happen, but folks wanna whine like the unlocks never even happened. Maybe they shouldn't have. At least the complaints would be justified.
They're going to fix it for the cash shop rerelease next year, don't worry guys![]()
