If RMT bothers you so much don't play MMOs. It is always going to be an issue on FF XIV. I am actually suprised it is not worse than it is.

Deliberately restarting a locked thread is a bannable offense.
Right now with the Current Client and how the game is now.. this game is RMT friendly... any MMO is like this, its hard to stamp them out completely. It is the GMs (Special Task Force)to get rid of them... however, I don't forsee things getting any better till 2.0, to where they can combat it more efficiently with better Servers and all that.It just irritates me that if they dont have an answer or are not willing to even hear player concerns about an issue they just lock em over and over and over again. It wasnt even my thread originally that this is based off. Its just an irksome habit of se
If they dont have an answer or if there is nothing they can do they need to man up and say so
Not only that but they Are trying to do the impossible.. that's doing 2 versions of the same game but 1 is going to be the better one ^^.
So the only advice I have for you is, ignore them for now till 2.0 when things are more settled down from having to patch this game up from the ground up.
Ok guys... here's what we're gonna do:
We're gonna discuss those RMTs to death! Wait wha- That plan already failed?
Plan B! We're gonna discuss those RMTs to death!
And of course they will ban me for it because its easier to ban a player for restarting a locked thread than actually answering the questions that the original thread asked outside of the stock letter they have at the ready.
Lets ban players that have been here since beta cause they are asking for an answer.
I know rmt are out there and I know there is nothing you can do about alot of this but really give us the information we want/need over something pre-typed that answers nothing.
Is this really how all of you answer issues in your life?
Don't like school? Don't go!
Don't like work? Don't go!
Don't like your neighbor? Kill them!
Don't like your left arm? Chop it off!
Cop out response that pretty much says, "I don't like what you said, but I can't really say why". Learn to argue.
My signature is edible. Go ahead, try some.
Because a video game is as important as education, being a contributing member of society, a person's life and a valuable limb.Is this really how all of you answer issues in your life?

No, seriously. RMT can never be completely prevented. It's a problem that plagues every MMO. While we should be grateful that there is a thorough procedure that SE follows before using the ban-hammer, unlike some MMOs, we have people here thinking they can hold a debate so profound that the devs will learn from us and change their process of dealing with RMT.

They answered the last thread. You're just being stubborn, bitter and resentful because they locked your thread and you couldn't continue talking about something you know nothing about.
your not reading things thru and also speaking without knowing about it
It wasnt my original thread
And asking for an answer outside a stock letter is not being bitter or resentful, this should apply to most locked threads you see. Actual questions that need answered are being given frosting and locked. While thousands of wasted space threads go on for 25+ pages.
Demanding an actual answer from SE is not being stubborn, bitter or resentful
