Every time I am about to perhaps finally leave a certain tier that is impossible to escape, I get a dancer in my game who does not utilise dance partner whatsoever.

Just a recent example. Group gold/platinum. Platinum dancer without a dance partner. I know this is of little comfort to you, but they are everywhere.

If people have issues getting out of the lower ranks, there's fundamental problems with their play style.

You can do anything for your team and your playstyle can be very good. They aren't. Your party is likely not very good in lower ranks and most of the time the same is true for enemy team. Your best bet is to play high impact Jobs with solo potential so you can tip the scales more often than not to get out of the miserable pits where no teamwork exists.

This is not the case, given the former crystal and many alts on bronze/gold. And platinum idiots are just as idiotic as bronze/gold idiots, sorry, I've seen them many times. So your arguments are not convincing to me. And the situation when you have a team that is weaker than the enemy, especially during prime time on weekends, because someone again decided to lvl/test/grind glam in the ranked, this is usual. Your rank talk is especially fun when you see someones alt in your group or in an enemy group and you already know what awaits you.

There's definately some autoloss games, but good players regularly make enough impact to climb over time. If it was truely so random or hard, then we wouldn't have so many same names in top 100 each Season. Some people even find time to push multiple alts up there (which shouldn't be a thing).

People don't work on marks, people don't focus, people don't push the crystal. Don't tell me about the turnaround if they can't even damage a specific target even on platinum and run around like cockroaches.

You are just as likely to get a winstreak through Plat to Diamond as you are getting a lose streak back to bottom of Gold. The only real modifier outside of alts is you. If the problem persists after hundreds of matches, it's a player issue.

This is starting to look like all those "elo hell" complaints in other games.

Wrong. It's not a player's problem when you have the same party three times in a row. And bad days do happen, just like bad matchmaking. I've seen very good players lose just by being in a crappy party, even though they do everything to win.

You can get a full party of gold and platinum who run in circles and you can get bronze who know what they're doing. You can get a full party of newbies who get scared or die one by one against the gold. You can press "Push the crystal!" until your fingers hurt and push it yourself, and you'll be dead, because your party at the other end of the arena is running after one person while the enemies kill you.

And it's still a team game. Your permanently dead BLM DRG NIN, who are in the chainstun, will not be able to change the outcome of the battle if they are correctly and at the right time focused.

So about the skill of the player, I only partly agree with you. And all these stories about a player who decided the whole battle at one moment is 10% of reality. The reality is, your group is effectively focusing and pushing the crystal or enemy group. Because I have seen many times how one "good player" at one time cleared the entire enemy party, and the next moment the cockroaches in their group again did not know what they were doing.

DNC in your group, which, by the way, can really change the course of the battle, which does not use DP and runs somewhere far away - this does not depend on your player skill. If you have at least two or three of the group know what they are doing, you have a chance, if only you are trying to compensate with your damage and skills for what others cannot, accept, you will lose.
