If they were to do this(which I don't see happening at all), option 1 is really the only one that makes sense. It's probably both the easiest from a programming standpoint, and the most logical.

I'll take the "mismatched gear" that is at the very least more compliant with what characters would be expected to wear outside of comic relief over the usual hideous and unfunny glamour people wear.
The in-game gear is designed to really look like something that was tailored/forged in the setting, unlike most of the glamour sets people wear. Someone wearing an incomplete set with a different armor still looks a lot better to me, because worst case I can tell it's an adventurer who couldn't afford the complete thing/still hasn't completed their job/role quest, etc. If I see someone in swimwear or dumb animal costume they just come off as complete weirdos that joined me for the dungeon because reasons.
To be fair, I honestly just did the recent quest that came out this patch where important NPCs are wearing the "dumb animal costumes". So people wearing this in the world is in-game lore now (if it wasn't already in other quests).I'll take the "mismatched gear" that is at the very least more compliant with what characters would be expected to wear outside of comic relief over the usual hideous and unfunny glamour people wear.

Still may not make sense in combat situations, but around town I guess it fits with the world they created.

Ok, let me try to rephrase, post in the official forums a photo with my character name not wearing a bikini and I can report you... Lol
All my sets, battle, hand, land, are glamoured yo bikinis, it's the only thing I wear, as soon as I get I new piece its bikini glamour on top of it.
But I'll concede you this option, once I receive the option to do all extreme, savage and ultimate content with the trust system. Good luck
The first post is actually an incredibly good idea.
I would like the option to hide lalafells, making them look like humans or a default humanoid npc model.
A sea urchin would also work. (Thanks Genbu)
Such a ridiculous thing to say. Especially over someone not viewing your pixel character in a pixel bikini.
Mhm glamour is =/= endgame hardcore content.
Glamour is the savage endgame content... You should know this by now.
Anyway I didn't make the rules to ban every mod, square did, so if you can post a pic of me not wearing a bikini you are in breach of tos...
Now if this feature of yours is so important so is mine, I want to play with npcs that way when I fail it's only my fault and noone else.
Until then keep seeing my beautiful bikinis
Customization and raid content are not the same thing and you know this. You are just putting up unreachable goal posts because of how emotional you are at the very thought of people viewing a character the way you have not intended.Glamour is the savage endgame content... You should know this by now.

While I wouldn’t be opposed to savage and ultimates becoming more accessible, it’s your equating the two that is ridiculous
