Some folks are playing monopoly; it need not be for RMT honestly - its SUPER easy to "store" gil value in high gil items that can be recovered via liquidation.

Considering that the topic of the thread alone basically states that owning sub farms = you're clearly engaging in RMT, it's not difficult to believe that people who in fact aren't engaging in such a practice would feel the need to defend themselves from being slandered by misinformation and how willing people are to believe in false facts. It may not be happening here, but people who own multiple homes/fcs are in fact receiving death threats because of threads like these.

P.S I have anxiety every time I file my taxes, even though I'm not doing anything wrong. It's illogical to say that people will never feel x about something because they aren't breaking any rules. There are a lot of people who get nervous going through airport security, even though none of us are going to blow up a plane or fly it in to something.

How would you know how they feel about it? Maybe some people who earned their gil the honest and hard way don't like being lumped in with people who do things illegally? Just because someone owns a bunch of pixelated houses, it doesn't make them a cheater.

I'm not even a sub farmer with a ridiculous number of houses and threads like this affect me. And it's not a stretch to know that you aren't breaking any rules but still feel anxiety about false accusations.
