I'm still mourning my one-gender race that actually had a pretty cute way of replenishing itself.
Whenever they died, they climbed a mountain. They weren't seen again. But then a child would come down the mountain. So they reincarnated, as it were.

In a perfect world they would accommodate tails, but I guess it's too much to ask for quality.
