Ungendered sit poses, please?

On the opposite end, I was quite happy with how feminine my new poses are, and that my character can embrace her own femininity. I couldn't even begin to tell you how much I would hate it if my character just manspreaded, forcing me to cpose out of it. Disgusting.

I'm not under the wrong impression. I know you're asking for more options, and not replacement. I'm merely expressing my opinion that females manspreading is disgusting, and I don't want my character doing it.

This feedback isn't very constructive. There's no real reason for not unlocking poses like this. If things got shut down just for the idea of it being "disgusting" and "unsightly" nothing would get put in this game! And if you personally don't want to see your character doing it simply don't use the sit.

I am expressing an opinion, and if you want to spend time on the internet, I would highly suggest learning to deal that there are people who not only do not support your views, but outright oppose them.


Not that simple. There is currently not an option to avoid using particular poses. If this was a thing, and I want my character to cpose after several seconds, she would do this. Not to mention what online pervs would do if my character was in this position, and I decide to afk using a sitting pose at the MGS while waiting for jumbo cacpot to run.


Stop making mountains out of molehills. Also learn that constructive feedback =/= only feedback that agrees with the OP. I happen to like to sit. I usually do it when I AFK for a bio break, to grab a drink, or when I am putting together a gathering list for a crafting session. Why should I lose this because some players want their female characters to behave like dudes, while the option exists for you to just select a male avatar?

The lot of you need to realize that not everyone is on board the agenda to abolish gender norms, especially when it comes to development time in FFXIV. I would sooner have them unlock the cposes that are exclusive to other races, but I don't really support that either.

Be for real you're not even gonna lose it. It's just a simple animation addition. And again if you don't like it don't use it. Having masculine emotes on your character doesn't make them not cute and dainty like you want them to be. It's just about seeing your own character, which is also what you want as well. This is hardly a mountain, even less a molehill.

Let me ask this, why should others be forced to cycle through cpose? Why demand something that a select few want, and now everyone has to deal with, whether they like it or not?

Demanding new options/features should never inconvenience people that do not want them. If you make the new poses simply part of the rotation, instead of selectable, then you're forcing everyone who don't want that pose for their character, to always cycle past that particular pose and/or also turn of idle cycling, so they never have to deal with it.

If we one day get an idle rotation selection and can actually choose our idle poses, then add whatever you want, the more the merrier. But forcing them on everyone, because you personally want that for your character? I will always disagree with that.

Neither of those are manspread poses, and for females it is actually quite feminine to be in this position. Underwear is also completely concealed as would not be the case if a female avatar manspreads while wearing one of the game's many skirts. Please grow up.

Female manspreading is *disgusting*. Don't ever do it.

Because the devlopers intend each race/gender to be portrayed as a certain way and that's the main draw for people pick those races/genders. A small outlier of people wanting their character to go against those norms isn't justification enough to open up all emotes to everyone.
