Not everything need to be for both. Bad enough we have eyesore everywhere now.

BOY I'M SURE GLAD THERE'S A THING CALLED "OPTIONS" AND "TOGGLES"
AMIRITE?

As someone who plays a male character, not really, I don't really want the female sit poses. You can keep them, not everything has to be universal.
As someone playing a male character, yes please, I'd love a good dainty sitting pose that is not generic mcjrpg guy or slav squat. There's no reason not to, really.

I think having unlocked poses is a good next step as they head toward unlocking clothes for everyone. Having different poses just unlocks the potential for players to immerse themselves further in how they characterize the character they have created. I don't see any issues with having different sit poses or even having the option to interchange gender locked poses between idle stances and such. I personally would think it would be interesting to see this since there's no real reason to have them gender locked!

I mean there is, they're poses designed specifically for those genders to look good with the model type and to make different gendered characters feels different, while giving each somethign unique.I think having unlocked poses is a good next step as they head toward unlocking clothes for everyone. You don't need to have access to everything if there's an equal but different selection for each race and gender. It's something that makes the races and genders in this game feel different and unique if they all have something different to offer.
In the same way that different races have different animations, different genders have different idle poses. Having subtle differences is good and makes having a male vs female character feel different in this game, just like playing a miqo vs playing a hyur feels different based on their different animations.
It's very curious though how these posts are always people who play female aura, miqo, or hyur demanding the male animations, glam, etc because they want all of the options. If you can wear rabbit ears on your character, have access to all the glams I have, have my animations and poses, what makes my character anything but an inferior version of yours?
Why even play certain races if they're just an inferior version of something else?

It's also very curious how you keep repeating this "observation" even in a thread like the one the other day, right between multiple posts from male characters hoping for female glamour.
