My "valid criticism" is what MMO Devs agreed with for decades. Not only do they agree, they spend more and more time on fashion, cosmetics, and character customization. Clearly it's vital to the success of an MMO. You have no valid point. If you did, maybe a dev anywhere in the genre might take you up on this insipid idea.

There are MMOs out there that allow this to happen anyway. And devs from various companies in various countries didn't go into a room together one day and decide that glamour means everyone has to view said glamour. This is some weird fantasy of yours. And even if they did, that does not mean a company could not change that policy.

Once again, a valid point is needed. You have no actual reason to want to restrict this feature.

Because you refuse to see player agency over their OWN CHARACTERS in an MMORPG as valid. But it's always been core to MMORPGs. Forcing characters into outfits they wouldn't wear is taking away agency. If people want to continue to bring up GW2, removing my characters race, face, and hair and turning it into a black void is taking away my expression and agency. How dense are you?

People are asking for player agency. You are against it, unless it's an illegal mod. You've admitted it.

Core of MMOs is your journey in a larger world filled with people, not the other guy's glam options.
