it's rare that I'll openly say a thread is entirely pointless but in this case it is.

there's no way square is going to agree to... not make money. full stop. they're a company, we exist under capitalism and people are willing to spend anywhere from a few dozen to hundreds or even thousands of bucks to make themselves look the way they wish. cashshop glams and fantasia sales would probably take a significant hit. i would be surprised that if someone employed by square were to suggest this that they wouldn't be laughed out of the room by a bunch of executives and managers who assumed it was them attempting to make a joke.

It's only pointless to you and you are not the end all be all.

People have already said numerous times that Guild Wars 2 has this feature and their income is soley from cash shop items such as cosmetics yet people still play that game.
