I don't mind it not showing up for long (because you can pop it up again anyway at the start of the duty) I just think it's a shame it's so small.

That's my opinion, I can understand why people don't like it. I enjoy the feature, that's just me.

Taking a screenshot will fix both problems. At least up to a point xD

I actually think it's a neat feature, just a bit disappointed that it's so small actually. You make big, colorful portraits but you only see it for a second and it's so tiny.

There could be some sort of a "pause" with the big thing on screen for a sec at the start of the duty, idk. With, of course, the possibility to turn it off if people don't like it.

You can.
When the portraits are displayed you need to go where your notification windows is, open up and you’ll see all the portraits without any time restriction.
Then, you can right click on the upper part of the window poped (near the Close bottun) and set the size you like and the position.
It will remain saved for the future.

They added a button to check out portraits on the bottom of that window.

I would just be happy if they'd fix the janky portrait system to stop breaking on the most minimal of changes to your gear set. Stuff that may not even be a legit change, but it still demands you press Triangle (on console) to update your gear set.

Forcing you to go back into portraits, click edit, and update that.

Why did they think it was a good idea to do it like this? Why can't I just make a nice portrait and not be forced to reflect whatever gear or glam I'm currently wearing, but that somehow seems mandatory.

I don't understand the portrait system; I don't care about it, and I'm tired of being nagged about it. I just want to do my roulettes.

All it takes is a simple color change (or any change for that matter) to any piece of gear, hiding your weapons or toggling your visor. Short of never changing your gear or glamour ever there's not really a solution.

I haven't even changed any gear/appearance since 6.3 hit, but it's still showing that error.


This all just feels like a really unnecessary annoying change. Not well thought out.

This might help.
In short, even if accessories are obfuscated by other pieces of gear, their glamour (or lack thereof) are still taken into account by the portrait.
If different gearsets apply different glamours to those accessories, it'll break your portraits in gearsets where your glamour plates have empty slots.

I don't use any glamour plates. I've always just applied glamours directly from the dresser. I don't glam much besides weapons.
