true be told they should allows us to trade for it, like how you can get the items to upgrade your gear
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

Even worse? Rolling 90+ on it and still losing
Still salty about those times I rolled 97/98 and lost.
It's like the game said "F* YOU in particular"
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

I might be miss-remembering this, but i think part of the problem back then was that the minion also didnt drop every run. I remember a couple of them i never got until they upped the minion drop to 100%. Now they start at 100%, so the odds are better. But RNG can still RNG. I know there was at least one nier mini i never got and eventually have to go back for. So far ive only done the new one once(i got a gear piece and music roll first run, so havent been grinding it at least so far), and my roll of 69 was no where near high enough.I didn't get that minion until Endwalker. 6.1, I think (might've been the end of 6.0). When I convinced some people I knew to undersize the raid for no other reason than to get the minion. That's a long, long time to get a minion and even then, I didn't get the minion in the "standard" fashion. I had to force it to finally get it.

Yeah. The 2B minion, 9S (I think) and one of the pods was a rare drop, so they almost never dropped. I only managed to get them when they upped the drop rates to 100%, as well.
minions are not required to play the game
RNG doesn't care about how useful or useless you were.
Get over it, RNG will be RNG regardless of your own personal feelings and accomplishments.
lol. This has been my experience for the past few years, losing loot rolls to the person who is dead for the majority of the fight. So much so that im convinved theres some sort of pity roll luck system we dont know about.
Neither is frequenting the OF's yet here we are.
People like collecting stuff. This game prides itself on collecting stuff, there are achievements for it. Meaning it's part of the gameplay experience intended by the devs to be able to collect things.
If our bare minimum is being able to load the game and access a server, then that bar is so low it's drilled a hole to china. Nor is the bar "being capable of killing stuff", because several people don't even play the game for the PvE section and actually like crafting and gathering, only really engaging in PvE when they need to progress with the MSQ to access new areas.

I joked to my cohealer friend on day 1 that Nymeia favors whoever died 69 times. That very same AR they died miserably in every boss fight & they rolled 99 on the minion. On their first run.
Nice joke, RNGesus.
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
