They'll only show it in the fanfest and pretend it's a big surprise! I think they may show in the first one since they have already said its coming and they know people are impatient to see it. You know people would riot if they don't show it in the first one.

Not even the Viera crowd Rioted. They just kept poking and prodding and repeating "Male Viera"
They will show it, when it is time to show it.

But hey, 1st fanfest? I can dream
But it might be better to show it later...and closer to release to give more attention to other things 1st as a appetizer

My hope is for the second fanfest, the one in the UK. Based on what was said a few pages back, the second fanfest is where they tend to show the races. I will be attending that one and if I see Female Hrothgar being shown I will probably explode.

To be entirely fair, they only didn't riot because there was still hope/uncertainty about revealing the males in the last fanfest, since it would've been the first time they'd appear and all that. People would've 100% rioted if they had said then and there "no bunny bois, only gurls".

has there been any more word about the release of Fem Hrothgar? last I saw they said male Viera and Fem Hrothergar was coming. then we got Male Viera and I haven't seen anything since about Fem Hrothgar

IIRC they mentioned that fem hroth are still in concrete plans, but gave no sorts of ETA.

I as well as many friends have been much more interested in Hrothgar and would much rather they released both Male and Female Hrothgar at the same time and released Female and Male Viera later. I feel like Viera was just added to the game as fan service more than anything else. Hrothgar have a much bigger appeal to me than Viera ever did.

They didnt even have plans for other genders when they originally did it and were pretty much doing it as last new races they were gonna add. I'd honestly like to think that femHroth taking so long is a positive, as I'd like them to not be just miqo'te with cat face or femRoe with cat face, but actually something closer to current Hrothgar, and them taking so much time to make gives me hope they will be more unique relative to existing races than viera were. In the end, only reason Male Viera and Female Hrothgar are even being made is giant demand from community, but I imagine on several levels, male bunnies were just easier than female lions; while having generally higher demand. As long as plans for femhroth aren't scrapped entirely, I am mildly okay with waiting.

Don't quote this anywhere because I can't find the source atm but I swear I read somewhere that when they were planning on adding the last race in Shadowbringers they ran into a problem. The team really wanted to add in a more beastly race since they felt such an option was lacking at the time but they knew that players really wanted Viera. Hence the compromise we got of one gender of each race to try to please everyone which didn't work since people immediately protested the idea of only getting half of each race.
