I usually try to avoid being on here at all. Was clean for a little over a year. Don't know what possessed me to start back up.

Other than that both need to be revamped. if nothing else for collectors.

Yeah I groaned a bit looking at those card requirements, too. I noped out of Eureka at Pagos. I did try, but I had friends who no lifed it so I quickly fell behind if I didn't want to spend every waking moment there when it came out. And while shout chat was amusing waiting for NMs, waiting around for them and descending like piranhas on the spawn triggers and then standing around some more was just incredibly boring. I played EverQuest for over 10 years. I'm no stranger to camp and grind. I enjoyed it for what it was at the time, but that style of MMO just isn't my cup of tea anymore. And there were factors involved in that era of MMOs that just don't work in XIV, as some others have mentioned. So it ends up being a poor facsimile of that older MMO style.

Hopefully we'll get the cards in future Moogle events. I have liked how they have Eureka-only things in those event and have made sure to work to get those items. Maybe someday I'll try poking it again, but I won't feel a huge loss if I never interact with it again.

It's already fairly solo-able, just grind-y as all Hells. Being solo just makes it take longer.
