I don't know about Gorillas doing that. I think they are actually sort of docile, or less aggressive, in comparison to things like chimps. Chimps are the meanest of the bunch, aside from humans.

I think you're right and it was a chimp. I'm honestly trying to forget the whole thing existed because it was just so...surreal and creepy.
