DPS meters promote instrumental play over social play. Which in WoW case lead it to become the toxic cesspool it is now. I don't want the same in FF14.

For you to convince me, you'd need to prove why humans playing FF14 will behave differently than humans that play WoW when presented with the same stimuli.

You need to be some new kind of special if you think a human play WoW and go full toxic, then switch to FFXIV and magically turn into an angel cause of the lack of dps metter.

Maybe it didn't occur to you that a toxic player will be toxic, regardless of the tools? Like, if you didn't know, Humans got personalities and that things don't change on the fly depending of the game you play.

Let's be honest now, the expectations you have for the playerbase go far above "being better than a Duty Support NPC" with how much you speak about logs and judge others based off them as well. If that was the actual case, being able to clear content at a quick pace with everyone using AoEs when appropriate would be enough (considering Duty Support literally does neither of those things).
