Things I'd definitely like to see implemented in the game so far

Reward? Or leash?

Unlike the general population, I have no reason to lie about anything on here. I'm not trying to fool anyone, myself included. I enjoy this game for what it is. I have my list of things I'd like to see change. I go on with my life.

Housing wasn't intended to be a leash. It was the players that originally made it so, by leaving plots / houses empty and then begging for demo to be put in. It's a luxury good. I don't consider it a reward for all that needs to be invested, putting things together. I didn't come here to build a housee. I came here to have fun. I've done enough houses in other games and I can still visit them if I like. One has to be unboxed and paid for when I get back, but I have the layout saved.

It's two different things to say you have to pay 10 years worth of a subscription and wait all those years vs. coming back every 45 days to keep something active. If you have feelings towards doing either one you might be here for the wrong reasons.

Cosmetic:
Glamour restrictions lifted between armor classes. You can't equip everything, but you can glamour everything.

Sans Artifact Sets, so they can keep their unique flare, which is about the only thing that makes sense about the argument of keeping things restricted.

Gameplay:
Raiding - Toggle option to activate a "Personal Practice Mode"... Making yourself ineligible to loot and not affecting the number of chests, but not counting credit for the weekly completion of the fight.

Also a loot option for Savage parties to lock people into winning only 01 chest per fight, like it happens with the normal modes. This is to help the abysmal impact that the loot system has in PF raiders. I remember that I spent five weeks IN A ROW with zero loot, while seeing the same person getting multiple items at once. Of course this doesn't solve the problem, but at least alleviates it.

Oh I wasn't calling you a liar. Absurd reactions and hyperbole don't necessarily have to be lies, and usually sarcasm resorts to one of the two. If anything, I thought you weren't being serious.

And yeah, housing wasn't intended as a leash. But then crap happened, and the amount of effort you put into both getting and maintaining a house alone are really huge issues. You might not feel particularly attached to your achievements in-game and devalue them, but some people do. At least in the sense that housing is such an annoying thing to deal with that it really doesn't match the downside of losing everything on account of not being subbed for so long.

And yeah, there is a difference in a 10-year reward's worth. But at least you're not at the risk of losing it all. And at least for the comparison I made, it was specifically the bit where you mention a wrong way to apply pressure and keep playing. If anything because of how extreme the loss is.

The loss isn't something you can maintain. It's just an outright "bam, all's gone, f you".

At least the other rewards you get to keep.

I would say why not? The mogshop is just a byproduct of copying WoW, might as well embrace the future rather than beat around the bush, lol.

The Mogstation items predates WoW Tokens and the vast majority of items purchasable outside of Collector's Edition bundles on WoW.

As for the larger topic... Integrating Tokens to allow for a direct and in-game trade between game currency and real-life currency may take a bit of business away from the shadier sides of RMT, but adds even more incentive to proceduralize and optimize in-game economics and greatly increases the rate of (now-legitimized) RMT interactions. The effects have, by the measure of most communities, been more harm than good to most regions thereby provided (with the only silver lining being better pricing for regions who pay a higher equivalent of the game's home country's currency than other regions, usually due to legal hurdles or market complicators otherwise faced).

absolutely horrible idea, for both SE and players
obviously SE would lose a ton of money due to this since all the players at the top of the economy just don't pay a sub anymore
as for players, this assigns real world value to every tradeable item in the game and people will start grinding for gil more since it saves them actual money, I'm not an economist but I think this would also cause hyper-inflation in market board prices since people are constantly trying to get more and more gil, stopping new players from buying even slightly expensive stuff

this would kill the market for most items that can only be bought from those things, and also would be personally annoying since even more people will Need/Greed on every single item that drops even if it's something they don't need (and it would only extrapolate the problems of the second suggestion)

Display it where? You really want them to add a window to display loot drops when wikis exist? Are we now supposed to wait at the entrance of every instance while the new person goes window shopping?

Duty finder window. There is already a notification which displays rewards obtained. And having a button there to show the possible duty specific drops isnt going to cause you to wait, its before people even queue up (or maybe during the queue, but once the instance starts, its no longer visible).

And relying on a wiki is a flawed design under the same argument that people should be looking at a wiki before queuing for expert/savage. Information is generaly best obtained ingame directly.

The only real changes I'd like to see are:

Simplified Glamor system
Glamor restrictions lifted (as others have said) - I don't see the point in these restrictions personally - when you enter a trial and find yourself in a team with a Frog, a Chocco, a fish and a Au'ra in a bikini its pretty difficult to not laugh at any reasoning they may have for restricting Glams.
