Enablers are probably the worst people. Like, let someone offer help, it's not an attack, calm down. I mean if you were being a toxic POS I can understand, but I'm willing to trust that wasn't the case.

Yeah it is gets rough, been farming moogle tomes and just recently I ran into a group where the tank did not use tank stance or any cooldowns, when I brought up the lack of tank stance the dps just laughed and said anyone can tank just heal us through it.

I left, sure I could have just done as they said fairly easy but not the point. As a community I do not get why some people think that this is okay? As they say playing poorly is not forcing a standard because it is possible to clear the content and that is all that matters. I get it sometimes I want to turn off my brain and zzz my way through content, but at the very least perform your role you queued up for. Noticed been running into players that queue up certain roles for the in need bonus but have no idea what they are doing and expect the group to just cater to them. I ran into someone that brought a sage healer into 50/60/70/80 dungeons for the bonus / queue, and they were open about it. Mentioned they never healed before in PvE and asked if we could take it slow so they would not have to heal much. Since yeah, single pulls you really do not need heals they are 100% correct, everyone seemed okay about it or maybe they were not just did not want to bother to speak up.

Zeb is 100% correct that toxic causals are a thing, and they should not be babied into thinking what they are doing is okay because the content is easy and two people could clear it.

Not a sound reason but I think it would just make the devs really hate their game. They just dont share the same mentality that some people here do about it, theyre too focused on the negative side and being antagonistic with some of these debates isnt really helping your case. Like just this topic alone I can already feel the ulcers of the dev team forming from having this question show up in the community time and time again.

The devs kinda made it a numbers game. When they made the fights that matter a dps check with a hard enrage.
