Since these aren't Ronso, the Odds are very strong that the Females will be shorter.
I just dont want them to look all Frail and Danty like the Au-Ra Females.

But I certainly hope they follow the Ronso and make the Females Quite Tall.

I think Months ago it was said that they settled on 2 designs.
UGH the waiting is killing me. I wanna know If Im gonna waste money on a dam Potion or forever be angry at SE.

Honestly, at this point, I think it's safe to say that they won't be coming until 7.0. But I think in retrospect this was very obvious from the beginning. Personally, I hope we see something at the UK fan fest, which I believe is in August, that would keep the same time frame as Male Viera had before release.

Part of me really wants to fear the worst, to think they will somehow mess it up. But then I remember the drawing from a few pages back made by one of FFXIV's artists and I get some of that fear to go away. Honestly, regardless of my taste, I would be more than happy if we got that. It gives the vibes that I want, it has the height that I like and it looks very pretty while keeping the more animalistic head. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but mine sure is!

And while a part of me still hopes for something more like Karmaho's interpretation. I would love to play as this.

Which...IDK...later 2023 like...August? Since we are on a....120day / 4 Month Cycle?
And Maybe by then the EW 5.5 story should be wrapped up

Yeah ;___; I wasn’t around at the time they released au ra, but after I saw the initial sketches I was sad they went a completely different way and saw plenty of other people feeling the same.

a hunch that ruins 80% of chestpiece glam should be allowed to be explained "bowing" when 1 of the 2 hrothgar tribes do not HAVE queens to begin with (Lost).
If the women dont have the stupid hunch they need to remove it from the men, it sucks, its trash, Ronso are perfectly straightbacked DESPITE having digifeet there was no good gd reason to give hrothgar "generic mmo beast race spine problems" especially not when god knows the women are going to get hit hard with "oh they need to appeal to men who wont play them, they need to be as ootseycutesy as possible" disease like femaura did.

1 of the 2 hrothgar tribes do not HAVE queens to begin with (Lost).

They're not really separate tribes, though. It's one combined culture where individuals may fluctuate between Helion and Lost status according to their current circumstances. The names and even the appearances are only divided up like that because there need to be two clans in the character creator template.

Except they are separate tribes tho bc 1) no mentions of Queen/Martriarchal-despite-0-women-existing trash for hrothgar on norvrandt and 2) they have different PUPILS and fur colors. These are not things predictated on systems of governance. They're decidedly different and thereby at least 1 of the 2 should not have a stupid hunch that everyone hates

Ronso are an independently evolved culture and don't factor into Hrothgar at all.

And I know there was official text – not sure if it's in the character creator or somewhere else – saying that the division of "Helions with brown fur and Lost with grey fur" is a misconception and there isn't actually such a dividing line. The implication being that the devs just had to divide them up to fit the template, and wrote lore to de-emphasise that division and say it's more complicated.

If a Helion tribe's queen dies (presumbly only with no successor), they change their surname and become Lost. That's my understanding of it anyway, until the writers care to go deeper into the system rather than avoiding it.

(Personally, if I was in charge, there's been so little addressing of the "tribal queens" concept in-game that I'd probably just tell everyone that we're ditching that part of the lore entirely and rewriting it from scratch with only the central Queen Gunnhildr and clans that do or don't recognise her authority.)
