Even in your best case scenario, your goal for having dps meters is to expose people doing worse than you. That's the entire reason why people know it will be used for toxic reasons, you're admitting it. You want the numbers included in the game so you can shove them in someone else's face.
It will 100% be used for toxicity if added, and that's why we're not getting it.

So if someone falsely claims they are carrying the party, if someone falsely blames everyone else proving them wrong is toxic? That's what you're saying and you're still not explaining how it can be any different than ripping into someone for dying a lot.
