How the hell do people drink Fantasia?

I used to be a fanta addict. I played au ra and was constantly changing faces, eyes, something was always “off”...

Since Viera came, at first I didn’t feel that confident to play them because they reminded me of real life and I hated myself. The amount of time men and women told me I was “too tall, no you can’t wear this it looks too short on you and you’ll look sl*tty, no you can’t put heals you’ll be taller than me” etc. really got to me, so in fantasy settings I was choosing the opposite, who I deemed as the perfect type of woman and who I thought I wanted to be, a small little au ra who doesn’t need to hide in long hoodies because a skirt looks cute on her and not “inappropriate”.
This was of course all regardless me absolutely loving Viera from the start but self hate sucks and makes no sense. Lack of confidence and years of being told there’s something wrong with you, can really bring you to seeing everybody as good looking except yourself.

Then with time I decided to give them a try, and here we are a year later after having used fantasias at least once a month (yeah I judge myself too but I was immature and dumb af) I stayed a Viera without changing for long, except into boy bun to try it out but I always missed the feminine so I turned back after a week or so.

I did “fine-tune” her twice, but I think at the moment she is pretty much perfect, (except I caaaaaaant decide on the eaaaaars!!!!!).
I can’t imagine getting rid of her as my main, and each time I tried due to headgear limitations, it wouldn’t last a day. I would instantly feel as if that other character isn’t relatable whatsoever (possibly why I was never happy with my au ra), not just in looks but lore-wise as well.
I mean come on, I get to be a bunny living in a forest, part of a female society - my forest sisters, and frolic the hell out of whatever fields I see. I feel at home. I love Cinnabun and in a way she helped me be less hard on myself.

Your viera is great! She looks good, and is super unique! I like a lot of your glamours and how often you share them over in the viera thread! I'm going to need to go back and like quite a few of them, from the period I wasn't even subbed. Yep. I was still lurking that thread.

My current Cycle of fantas:
Midlander > Midlander (made slightly taller) > Xaela Aura > Sun Miqo > Moon Miqo > Xaela Aura > Moon Miqo > Bun > Sun Miqo > Raen Aura.

I'll likely change back to a Sun Cat (as I feel like it's my "main") I just like trying out different characters a lot of the time, but I generally stay as a sun Miqo for my MSQ stuff cuz I feel most attached to that character.

I also have this trend of always having white hair and red eyes for some reason even when changing character.

I used to change a lot when they first allowed it..this was mainly because I have played almost 13 years and my original character a Miqo did not feel right to me.

I tend to go between my Midlander and my moon cat depending on how I feel.

I just feel it is the same character and I am attached, I guess I see it like a regen of Dr Who!

Nope! I switched back to my rava.. My avatar hasn't updated.. But yes, this is the BEST miqo'te face, and mooncat is the best. I'm only very recently being a bit more active, in anticipation of the patch.

This was a switch when I wasn't really logging into the game at all, beyond switching DC, and bidding on a new house. I was mostly just playing around with the suncat look and a couple glams one time late at night. I was taking a bit of a break from the game, even let my sub go for a bit.

I've only used a Fantasia to go Lallafel on a bet with my boyfriend.

Both of us focused hard on keeping as much of our 'look' between the two. Similar haircuts, tatooes, faces.

It was extremely fun, though I don't think I'll do it again.

Most of the private larger houses are gone, if not all gone, by now on Marilith at least, but the FC wards have quite a large amount of them last time I checked, at least here. I don't know the situation on EU or other worlds on this DC specifically. I just got another small for now, I kind of missed the window for a larger house, and I didn't (don't) have enough gil even for a medium. I ended up moving into a neighborhood and beating out a guy who was trying to move in close to his friends (who bid late I might add). I wouldn't have bid there if I had seen him bid prior to me. I digress.

Yep, that is what I was doing with that particular look. That specific hair color, and lipstick color, kind of matched her slightly tanned skintone fairly well. Although, with that preset, I was kind of wanting to make her a bit more tanned. Still, I think mooncat looks better overall, and weirdly, I don't really like the suncat eyes as compared to the mooncat. I know a lot of people like the miqo'te cat eyes. Plus mooncats have fangs!

Former Fantasia-Addict here.

I've been playing this game since a long time now. Started of as Lalafell, then changed to Miqote...and after that first Fantasia, I used to change my characters race and looks almost every two weeks.

It was very weird. No matter how happy I was with my characters looks at the moment of change, it always felt like something was wrong or didn't fit after a while. I was simply never satisfied.

Sometimes I wanted to play as a Lalafell again...at other times I wanted to be an Aura and then a Miqote because of just some teenie tiny detail that annoyed me.

But I am proud to say that since Endwalker dropped, I have not used a Fantasia again.

With Male Viera being released as a playable Race, I'm now totally at peace with my character. Sure, I'm still changing his hairdo or color from time to time. But the rest? It's just per-fec-tion to me.
It's like I found what I was waiting for - or missing with the other races - all this time.

Edit: However, I still have some alts with other races I like to play with from time to time. Still, I'm also not using Fantasias on them. They are good the way they are.
