The fact that you told me us that you have a history of getting marked with target to ignore just gives it away. You have a history of being an anchor to the team, and the people who through the match before the match has been decided, are the people who have previously had you on their team and they know that they don't want to put in the effort in. Now are they in the wrong? Yes. I hate it when people throw. But this also happens to me sometimes where I've had the same horrid player in my team several times in a row, that I pretty much just leave the game, take the 30 minute penalty, and just play a round of Vampire Survivors to cool off a bit.
You say Deaths/KO do not hold the team back, but then you contradict yourself by stating "It's how, when, and why you KO/die." I agree with that that statement, because the
How: You were not using your recuperate, purify or even guard.
When: Died at the very start of the fight and did absolutely nothing.
Why: You're bad.
Thus, staggering the team and could starting them off at a major disadvantage that unless they're god tier players, that have no choice but to retreat.
Common sense goes a long way in this game. But when you have a history to dying to stupid crap. You will be marked with target to ignore. And no, just because you've got a couple games where you luckily had players carrying you against a bunch of clowns who can't press buttons in the enemy team, doesn't mean you're half-decent. Sorry. Practice more, please.
