Got a question for you: is it almost a reflex that you just have to make these random generalized things in your post? Why do you do it? Do you think it'll make your point go across better? Like ... dude, look at the forum, people can't shut up about asking for QoL stuffs, hell they would even accuse Yoshi of insulting and being disrespect toward them when he doesn't give them all the QoL they ask for.
I have never really ran across a person who would defend this 1-restore-ever thingy. At most we just accept it for what it is, like ... it sucks but c'est la vie sometime. It's safe to say the reason we still have that policy ain't due to the community think what a great idea it is.
But the GMs tell you to leave feedback on the forums when you are done speaking to them. That's great to hear you had a positive experience with a GM, OP. You can actually leave this feedback directly in game and it will get to the GM team directly, just go to Support Desk>Contact Us>Leave a Suggestion and put it in and it will go straight to them! Unfortunately they're unlikely to see the feedback here as the forums are meant for feedback/suggestions regarding the game itself and not support related feedback or suggestions.
my baitdar is going off, but who knows, maybe it's wrong and I'm just cynical.
gm script was never made or modified to account for the fact there isn't an appropriate section for gm feedback on the forums ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
like, iirc, i'm pretty sure their script just points you to the top forum page
The "dead" ones. The only ones posting there tend to be ones that actually enjoy the game. When an online game no longer becomes popular then the chaff slowly drifts away until the game (and message boards/forums) become a lot more stable in the long run. The only downfall is when the parent company pulls the plug when the money is drying up. There will always be fan run servers afterwards but large corporations hate it when you revive their IP for some reason, lol.
