I have a house and deal with these limitations. I would prefer them devote more server space to more housing than to more garden items, because there are still people without houses.

There's no reason they can't do both. At the very least they could start with enabling teleportation without the aetherite. We can already do it in our apartments, I'm sorry but I think your opinion is wrong.

Tell you what. Instead of doing what I normally do, and being the party pooper contrarian by listing reasons why they can't do both. How about I hear you out first, and give you an opportunity to enlighten me on how they can do both release more wards for those unlike yourself, and don't have a house at or gardening capability at all; AND also increase the amount of items you can lie down. Because they can't do it for just you. They would have to increase this size for S/M/L across all wards, on all worlds, on all data centers.

BTW, I did have a small plot at one point, and have a medium now. I can tell you first hand that when I had a small, I thought to myself how much more I could do with just another 5 slots. After I got the medium, the extra slots was not enough to craft my vision of the lawn. Perhaps you can also solve the issue with area-scaling when the number of possible items to decorate far exceeds the number of slots allowed?

My personal house is a small. I lived in a small since I won my first home placard clicking on September 1, 2021. I got lucky and relocated from that home into a few other smalls, and my last relocation, I hit the jackpot and was able to relocate to plot 29 in LB, with folks running on my heels to get to the placard before me.

I've stayed there since. It's not the huge yard our FC house has, but I love it. Would I like maybe a few more spots, sure, but I think with planning and vision, even the yard of a small can be wonderful. Heck, I've seen mediums and larges with crappier designed yards than some of smalls out there.
