I literally cannot decorate my exterior house the way I want to, because we are limited to 20 items.

Im sick of hearing the excuse that oh its going to cause "lag" like that doesn't happen already with certain housing items.

Upgrade the servers and add more garden space for all plot sizes. 20 is not enough when I want to make an elaborate pathway in addition to my decorating needs. It feels like I have to choose between one detailed area or the whole yard feeling slightly bland.

And if you don't have a house I dont want to hear you say "well at least you have a yard" or "INSTANCED housing I dont care" because this isn't your thread.

There's no reason they can't do both. At the very least they could start with enabling teleportation without the aetherite. We can already do it in our apartments, I'm sorry but I think your opinion is wrong.

I've been wanting it for years, I have a mansion and 40 slots are nothing and they just keep adding more decorations without expanding the capacity.


Another solution I've mentioned before would be "themes" like "Glamour Plates" but instead of clothing we would use them for outdoor/indoor decorations, this would allow us to easily change all furnishings at once according to the season without wasting time.


I hope the idea reaches the Producer.

Even without adding new slots they at least could free some slots up which are taken for basic functions.

The Aetherite is the worst offender. Just let us port to our house by default.

Let us utilize the slot for the little roof we can add to the house. They could add an Chocobo stable, gardening patch or training dummy we could place there.

Just a small amount Players owns a House.
All others have to live in a tiny Rat hole with a 100 Item Limit, no Garden, no Yard, not even a single Window that you could open to breath fresh Air.

Tell you what. Instead of doing what I normally do, and being the party pooper contrarian by listing reasons why they can't do both. How about I hear you out first, and give you an opportunity to enlighten me on how they can do both release more wards for those unlike yourself, and don't have a house at or gardening capability at all; AND also increase the amount of items you can lie down. Because they can't do it for just you. They would have to increase this size for S/M/L across all wards, on all worlds, on all data centers.

BTW, I did have a small plot at one point, and have a medium now. I can tell you first hand that when I had a small, I thought to myself how much more I could do with just another 5 slots. After I got the medium, the extra slots was not enough to craft my vision of the lawn. Perhaps you can also solve the issue with area-scaling when the number of possible items to decorate far exceeds the number of slots allowed?
