6 New wards Added to All housing districTs PER WORLD!

I'm decidedly curious as to what the division between FC and Personal wards is going to be, selfishly I'm hoping for the swing to be more in the FC favor.

Why would they add more FC housing? As it stands now, most of the FC housing is going to people who make an FC of entirely their alts or randoms they spam invites to, just to have a house. Even with that, there's FC housing left over. The real demand on housing is coming from the personals. People want to be able to decorate their own personal space and grow their own onions, since most FCs don't allow members other than the lead or maybe 1-2 people to decorate the house, use the subs, or use the gardening plots. The demand is on personal so if they're adding plots that's where it should go.

Would be bad move on SE's part. There are still empty small plots littered all over FC wards on my world. Unclaimed personal housing on the other hand, is nearly non-existent.

I don't live on your world and housing here where i do live is unavailable, that's why i'd like to see FC housing made available and i know i know, just move to a world where houses are, that's all well and good, but it involves moving the people in the FC as well as having to start from scratch on your housing rich world as well as dealing with the 30 day time out for new FCs.

Because there are worlds where all housing has been sold out, including FC.

Hopefully SE is finally going to do what they told us when the ward division was announced - make ward designations individiual on a world by world basis. Those with open FC housing will get all personal wards. Those with no FC housing will have the wards split based on how rapidly the FC wards filled.

It's the same as people like me who were forced to move from their home DC and leave their FC just to get a personal house. Whenever housing supply gets brought up the response is that it's irresponsible for individuals looking for personal houses to not move to where houses are available instead of asking for more on their home server, so why are FCs any different?

Individual players who transfer don't lose anything except their housing, and since they're transferring because they couldn't get a house in the first place they generally aren't even losing that.

FCs that transfer give up almost everything accumulated as a FC. FC ranks? Gone. Associated perks? Gone. Company credits? Gone. Members that aren't interested in transferring for whatever reason? Gone.

You're effectively telling the FC it needs to start over from scratch. Imagine how players would react if they were told that transferring would force them to give up all their jobs except one and that one would have to start over from level 1.

That's how the FC started out it now has actual members, it was started by my main and some alts, so no it would be inconvenient to move it at this time.

Edit: Also you weren't forced to do anything, you chose to resettle on a new DC, apparently having your own house was more important to you than the FC you were in.

This add to that the 30 day timer they stick on new FCs to keep them from acquiring a house and moving makes zero sense, we just got out of timeout a few days ago and are now eligible to bid on a house when one becomes available, hopefully with the new ward drop.

Yeah this would be the best case scenario. They should add enough fc housing to last until the next housing release, because it should be possible to make new fcs with ALL the fc features on every realm.

Honestly, may as well remove the split completely, and also the ability for an FC to stack bids. It's been long enough that everyone should be on an even footing by now.

There is nothing to be gained by either of those "features".

6 months down the track - one FC, one bid - master only.
6 months down the track, no more ward splits.
