Playing an expansion as current content has been a lacklustre MMO experience

Perhaps it's best for us to adjust to see this game as a "cheap girlfriend"--not because of the game itself, but because that's how other players want to see it. They don't see FFXIV as an equal to something like WoW. Just some "side hoe". Perhaps that's what it means to be cheap.

- If this game is an equal to WoW, I doubt I would be here for 10 years.
- In the end, I like what I like. How people see it is quite irrelevant. If what I like is everyone treasure? Great. If what I like is the niche of niche? Fine by me.


That's why my post does not tell people what to like or to dislike. I'm just telling people what this game is about, and decide it's something to invest or not. Like ... I'm not gonna argue between sour and sweet which one taste better. I'm just saying ... if FF14 is a lemon, and you prefer something sweet, then please don't bite into a lemon and complain it's not sweet.

Like I said, FF14 is a jack of all trade, its content is more about spread rather than depth, and I signed up for the package knowing that to expect.
