that makes me wonder, who is REALLY being effed over by RMT and bots?
I see people complain about bots ingame all the time but it never amounts to nothing more than them being mildly annoyed for the 3 min they stay inside a major city
yet there's tons and tons and tons of effort made to quell RMT and botting, including restricting players from gifting items.
Quite a few people get effed over because they get scammed. Accounts and credit cards get compromised and this summer was particularly bad. Credit bureaus put the pressure on SE to do something about it because there were so many chargebacks.that makes me wonder, who is REALLY being effed over by RMT and bots?

I thought their solution was friend to friend only + they can see who is buying and receiving, yet they limit the items anyway.
