Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

Uhh... So I was shown something today that really put humanoid designs for female Hrothgar into perspective.

Some people wanted them to be closer to Miqo'te, but with cat faces, yes? Uh... Well, this is a mod, so [disclaimer] definitely don't even try to install it. Just posting it here for design purposes.

I don't know about you but this legitimately freaks me out. That's a hard no from me chief.

No hate to the mod maker or the people using this or whatever. It's just that given how some people wanted similar designs for female Hrothgar, I uh... I think it's best if people had a glimpse and decided whether they're fine with this or not. I know I would not be.

That's a massive yikes from me, I'd legitimately be upset if they went that sort of route.

I mean. Obviously I want to say that Square would do a better job than some rando on the internet (no offence to the mod maker, but they really are at the end of the day some random person online, not a Square employee with a pay and standards to follow).

But, first, and I know people won't like me saying this, but given their track record so far with this race and Endwalker as a whole, I bloody doubt it.

And second, I feel like this would be the logical step to take with that design in mind. And some stuff might appear fine in the minds of some people, but then practically be very, very different.

I'd prefer if they took what a sizeable portion of people seem to enjoy, which are designs similar to Kkron's art. Stuff that's close enough to male Hrothgar without having ridiculous levels of dimorphism. I know it won't please everyone, but it'd please what feels like a majority of people interested in the race. Though let's be honest, this is a race that only pleases a handful of people as it is...

They are probably going to base off the current male hrothgar face (so face 4 will probably be ffx, face 3 is going to be interesting of what facial feature instead of a coeurl moustache).
Might be dead wrong and them be way more different.

It's funny cuz I linked that mod a while back when people were more in favor of a more humanoid look rather than "men with tits" and well, that's your "waifu Hrothgar" so why the silence or negative feedback now? a clear case of be careful what you wish for if you ask me.

...You did? Was I a part of that conversation? xD Because I really don't remember seeing it, and I for sure have always been more into "large women with leonine faces" to match the males.

Still Yeah, I specifically even ask the people who did say they wanted something closer to Miqo'te a while ago because of that. Because they're the ones who are asking for it, and their feedback matters as well. They shouldn't fall silent when there's something that rubs shoulders with their idea. And if they don't like it, then there's a chance to tweak the design and say what they'd like to see improved. Because otherwise, this is what it would realistically look like given the graphics of the game and the way models have been designed. Give or take some margin of error.

I still stand by liking kkron's art and all that, but... If they decide to not rehash the Femroe body, then maybe this would be a decent middle-ground? This is Fatima from Sdorica. There are other artwork of her, but she's wearing less than she is here, so I won't risk it. It's not NSFW, it's safe to google, but... if you know how Nidalee from League of Legends looks like, then yeah that's virtually what she's wearing.

Hi, a bit of a silly question, but... when Female Hrothgar comes out, what will you do? Drink a fantasia on your main or make a new character? I have been thinking about this a lot since I would like to experience the game with her, but at the same time, I kind of am more attached to my main. I might end up just drinking a Fantasia and going through the New Game+, but what about you?

Make an alt. Decide on her lore depending on how they look like. Try out female glamours for once.
