    I don't know exactly how you were searching on the websites, but it's possible that you were searching for the wrong thing for the answer you needed (eg. directly for the NPC rather than the quest) and getting linked to the first instance of the NPC, who you do first meet in East Shroud, rather than the specific location you were looking to find.

    That is most likely exactly what I was doing, in my increasing frustration!
