What's your go-to game when you are suffering from Burnout?

Sims 4 became free to play on every platform so I started downloading it before heading to work. I've not played it in ages so it seemed like something to obsessively play for about a month before something else grabs my attention. Probably gonna play it on my next day off and shake hands with the cute and chubby/thick girl next door till she falls in love with me and wants to get married. I bet I could get the job done in...30 hand shakes? Unless they changed how people react to you and you have to at least try to act like a normal human being.

There is only one correct way to play the Sims, and that's going on an 18 hour bender, coming out of it wondering what year it is, doing that for like a week straight, and then not touching it for 11 months before you forget it exists... until the cycle repeats itself when you go "oh yeah, I have the game huh..."

You're not wrong. I gotta kill the entire neighborhood first before I stop playing though. It's like an unspoken rule that you gotta be a complete psychopath at one point in your playthrough.

Ahh, the 2hus, been a while since I played one. I haven't played a lot of the new ones, think I stopped after Ravesokyo (Ten Desires) but I do enjoy revisiting every so often.

My last one was the 17th I think(?). I'm kinda upset of their chosen color palette, everything was -so red- and even our own shots can obscure enemy's bullets. Otherwise, they're a fun game to "hit, play, then stop" nowadays. I know I've played the series too much since middle school because when I ease into any other subsequent games, experimenting with hitboxes are one of the first thing I did and XIV was no different xD

I should try their fighting games too someday, they looked... hilarious.

To be frank, I think the developer themselves are one because of... well, the myriad ways to just die... and apparently the characters are all good at it too lol.

One time I invited some of my close friends to watch me streaming "who's the most resistant to dying from embarrassment"-challenge on x4 speed play mode with characters made based on ourselves. It was a glorious evening.
