What's your go-to game when you are suffering from Burnout?

I tend to bounce around a lot. Usually a newer game for a while like God of War, but also survival sandbox games like Conan Exiles or Subnautica.

I also tend to do older games that I missed when they first came out.

I’d say the games in my “stable” now are Guildwars 2, FFXIV, Conan and Minecraft. Sometimes games like civilization. Rarely games like the Sims (but my kids love it so I try now and then).

Honestly when burnout hits hard I tend to shift to Netflix for a week or so.

I played some of these once upon a time and while I was entertained, I think I am sadly just..losing interest in JRPGs in general. I even tried octopath and all I could think was “man I’m pretty sure I’ve played this a million times already”.

There are 3 control modes in Tales games. Auto, where the AI does everything, Semi-Auto, where the game will auto move you into position for the attacks after you hit the button, and Manual, where it does everything at your current position. You want Manual.

I just googled it, and apparently I need to get a book? Uhh... is it okay for me to go Manual? :x I prefer having full control, though I assume the game sets it up like that for some reason?

Just means the game won't autorun you to the target when you go to press the attack or artes button. And trust me, that autorun can and will probably cause you a few problems.

There's not really a go to game for me but the new Pokemon just dropped so I'm gonna be playing that with friends while there is downtime ^^

I'm by all means not quitting this game but I have been logging in less and less lately so I'm looking to try something new. Lately I've had an itch to play City of Heroes again since the private server is going extremely well.

I've finally got the DLCs for SMT V so I've picked that back up. Also got SMTIII deluxe (cheaper than base game on eshop right now) so I'll be playing that.

I also like Rimworld, Morrowind, dabble in GW2 occasionally. SWTOR has really good class stories and I want to do all of those at some point as well.

Ahh, the 2hus, been a while since I played one. I haven't played a lot of the new ones, think I stopped after Ravesokyo (Ten Desires) but I do enjoy revisiting every so often.
