But then again, I never saw anyone, outside those forums, that said the two minutes meta is inherently bad, rather the opposite really.

I hear it constantly in these forums, in game, in Novice Network, in FC chat, during fights, on podcasts, on YouTube, on Twitch, from day 1 Savage prog/Ultimate raiders... it's pretty unanimous that most people don't like it.
