    I'd like them to do...something with Scathe to make it actually worth using in some situations.

    Maybe have it turn into Scathe II under certain circumstances and be the glorious death ray it was in FF XII/FFTA2.

    FFXII Scathe was legit the most fun spell to use. It is particularly funny when you Shades of Black and get it randomly and just delete a whole room of enemies with it. A shame, really.
